I have had a lot of bad luck with my SAAB 9-3 2003 but I am not someone who gives up easily. I recommend this place because of the mechanic Dan who is a dedicated SAAB mechanic. When he is not there, the owner, Peter has to take a hand in repairs. I am sure in Peter's case he would rather work on Volvo's as SAAB's can be quirky but he is extremely competent as well. For repairs that are not a breakdown or an engine light coming on such as window seal installation, a new cup holder or a new shark fin to put on, it is best to call ahead to make sure Dan will be there. He is so good with these type of repairs, it looks like a factory install. I have about 170,000 miles on my car as I write my review and have stayed on top of all repairs being grateful to have not broken down in bad places. The ladies, Lynn and Terry are wonderful. Don, the service manager though stern, gets the job done. Randy has this wonderful personality and is office staff. When I have a breakdown that necessitates a tow, parts may or may not be immediately available so I may have to leave the car and pick it up another day. I can easily take the Silverline Metro bus back to Los Angeles with Randy taking me to the Transfer Center. Also, there are two buses that go north and south on Vermont right in front of the shop that will take me very close to where I live in Los Angeles. A bus that goes North on PCH at the intersection of Vermont goes to the Blue line Train as another travel option. I feel the pricing in the shop is fair in this place for my SAAB. The only other place for SAABs would be in Orange, CA but this place is tried and true for me.
